Yes, it's all too briefly put on this neglected site. 3 posts ago I was married. now nearly 2 years to the day (ironically) I am officially divorced. Words fail me on trying to convey how I feel at the moment. It's a tremendous loss and will be very tough to get thru. I'm still here in Austin. I'll try to get around to spiffying up the site as I've said in the other posts, I've been focused on my main blog so if want to see what I'm up to that's the best place for you to go. 11/30/08 My poor site Yes I've completely neglected this corner of the internet. It's long plagued by photo outtages (such as right now). I've spent most/all of my updating time on my blog here which has seen more care and attention than ironjack. It needs a site re-vamp. I'll contemplate on when i'll be doing that. 02/23/08 Yes It just took that long Believe it or not my photos are back up. It only took me movingg to a new place switching ISPs and voila the routing I had in place going to my baby laptop now works again. Enjoy the pictures. 10/23/07 Just back from Taiwan Still haven't fixed the photo server, i'm gonna move to flicker it'll be easier that way . Just got back from a fabulous trip to see my relatives in Taiwan, I'll post links when we manage to get photos out. So I'm married, My photo server is having major issues but, luckly for everyone else my new wife has better foresight than me. Wedding photos are here pics 08/04/07 Yes I'm aware i've not updated a lot. So I'm getting married in a few days! I'll post more about it later as when i'm ont the ship i'll have more time to expand. Happy belated new years :). I've put up some wildflower macro shots I did this weekend enjoy 11/18/06 photos back up finally Ok. that will teach me to add a MAC to my network. Took down images for a week I managed to post my new photos and get them all loaded only to have the mac that it was on totally crash :( i'm gonna try to put this on something else. 10/23/06 CENTURY RIDE Yes finally, i've managed to do a century ride, for those not in the know, that means on 10/21/06 I managed to ride out 100+ (102.5) miles out in the country roads of central Texas. Yeah, no tour de france but it was no small feat considering we only took 2 months to train. I'll be posting photos and a full summary tonight 08/27/06 a moment of silence please For those that are my friends, I'd like to share the passing of a good friend and mentor, Arjun Khanna. It is of course always sad to lose a friend, however when it's a senseless and sudden reason it's even harder to swallow. Whereever you are Arjun, know that you are both loved and missed. Goodbye dear friend. 06/10/06 OMG I'm ENGAGED!yes you heard it hear first more to come.05/24/06 Lots of photo updates. Finally! Go to the photos area, I gave up on captioning everying there's just too much to do. I still need to get a hold of a few additional pictures from the SF to LA trip. next updates? well i need to clean up some items and add some entries (cooking). I haven't gotten to the fixed gear project (finacial reasons) so i'll resume when I can 05/12/06 Busy month for me. I have new pictures i'm re-formating for the site. Stuff from my latest trip to cali as well as a few other photos. I'm working on building my self a fix gear bike so i'll put up pictures and updates from that under the works section. 01/19/06 A belated Happy New Year to everyone. Sorry to report, but I managed to burn out the power supply in my image server. So for the time being no photos from ironjack.com I'll post when the photos are back up! 12/27/05 London photos up Look out! 2 updates in 1 month? I might actually be in danger of keeping my site up to date. Anyhow There are photos from my London business trip. It was fun. Again, I'll try to get to the captions at another time but at least there are photos now 12/09/05 FINALLY photos! Sorry folks, these photos are about a year coming, and I've still got 2 event's worth that i've not yet resized and posted, but for your viewing pleasure new photos I'll try to backfill the captions so they aren't the default. Kitty and I go to Hawaii in a couple of days, so there will be more spectacular pictures to come 11/28/05 Ponderings Ok I've already stated that i'm lame, and yes for this to be the third entry in a year is pretty darn lame. Anyhow. I'm resolving to be better. Look for new pics in cooking and photos. Since I managed to pick up some new skillz with the secret santa, I should be eliminating a few bugs (see the dreaded /' problem i've been having with photos). Ok enough for now. Talk to you soon. 11/27/05 Secret Santa Well I managed to dash off a Secret Santa Application for Kitty's Family. Take a look, I'm sorry it's not pretty, but it's the first bit of development I've done it quite some times. I really do promise to post some pictures soon, I've got lots of them to go. I've been pretty busy, latest news, I've been laid off of Salion, so if you guys know of something lemme know. I'll be updating the resume side of the site soon. Come back soon and check them out. 10/18/04 Ride for the Roses I participated in my first real bicycle ride (yes with people and stuff), I rode in the 2004 Ride for the roses. A wonderful ride, i'll haev pictures shortly. 06/07/04 Birthday Pics are up Finally got myself in gear and got those birthday pictures posted. Please go and see'em. Thanks to all my friends that came to wish me a happy birthday, I had a blast 05/17/04 Happy Birthday to me! Ok Ironjack turned 30 this day. A momentous occassion marked by a huge blowout party on one of those big double decker party barges. No we didn't flip over. But there was much fun to be had. Rest assured I'll post photos soon. 05/04/04 Works Updated again! Ok got the climbing wall done. Have a look and let me know what you think! 05/03/04 Works updated So i've been getting into this woodworking thing. I posted results of a chair I made go take a look. I've also finished building my climbing wall so i'll put the narrative up there. 03/31/04 (later in the day) Cooking section update Pt2 Got ambitious and went ahead and added the last of the dishes to cooking. I'll work on the wall page over the weekend I'm guessing since i'll be closer to completion then 03/31/04 Cooking section update Pt1 Ok got a few items up in the cooking section. I'll update with the rest tomorrow. The climbing wall is coming along nicely except for a minor miscalculation on the placment in the garage. So i'm gonna have to saw off a foot of depth for the whole thing but I think it'll still work out. 03/26/04 Update to come Sorry I'm lame yes I know. New position at work has got me quite busy. I've managed to find some time to start some projects the biggest of which is my climbing wall. I'll add that to my works section. I'm also gonna put up some stuff in my cooking section so look for updates 01/21/04 Cruise Pictures are up! Ok the pictures from the cruise are up. Lots of fun. Hopefully new friends from table 120 (dinner buddies) enjoy the pictures! 01/20/04 Happy New Year A bit belated I know. But the New Years Party pictures are up. I just got back from a cruise (yes it's habit forming.) Those picture will be out shortly. The quick summary: nice, and relaxing. I wish I were still there oh yes, I should also have some more dishes listed under cooking at the same time the cruise pics are done. 12/25/03 Merry Xmas Merry Christmas folks. I'll post it up here but submit it as an article (so I won't overrun my bandwidth) at kcgeek home of the inspiration for building the array. So finally, I'll have something to put under the works section 08/12/03 As Promised!!!! Ok, as promised the photos are in! I've even put up all three sets of photos. So whoever's out there lurking about going thru my photos, have fun. whew. I'll try to keep the site better up to date. I might have to add a new section or two. But let's not get ahead of ourselves go to the photos section and check them out. 08/11/03 Photos on their way I know I know, empty promises, but I swear this time it's real. I've finished all the captions and need to upload the pictures so you'll see the links appear over the next few days. 08/06/03 Photo update Not that anyone reads this stuff. But I'm dilegently converting some pictures for upload. Good news. I'm updating the format and the pictures will be larger (640X480) So now you can see the faces of the people. I'll backfill the old photos after putting up the new ones. 07/15/03 Ok I'm lame Sorry i'm so very bad about the updates. I've been trying to get the webserver that serves my photos to stabilize (read: not over heat) so you'll probably notice that the photos have been up and down. I'm working on a set of photos from my cajun crawfish boil so hopefully a good update soon. I'm heading out to yosemite soon, so there should be some pictures from that as well. 04/06/03 Rant: Spam i hate it No real update today. Just a few anti-spam measures. Nothing new happening, well, ok my new kitchen is about done so I can start cooking again. I know, i've been a bit laxed on keeping this place up to date, mostly admin type stuff, new storage etc. 03/03/03 WOOHOO Cruise pictures finally! Finally, i've gotten around to posting the pictures from the cruise. I've made some improvement to the picture viewer too. It automatically refocuses on the popup window now so you don't have to do a bunch of clicking. 03/02/03 Belated Happy New Year Ok I'm a little late on the updates. Work's been tough. I've got new pics and stuff to put up, the downside is that i've run out of server space. So, i'm working on transfering my pictures off this server and linking to them elsewhere. 10/07/02 IRONCHEF AUSTIN Finished posting all the ironchef stuff. I've also updated the cooking section with close up shots of the food and descriptions. Warning there are Lots of photos of the ironchef stuff. 9/28/02 New Photos So, Ironchef Austin has come and gone. I squeeked by with a win, it was a whole lot of fun. I'll be posting pictures in the next few days. But in the mean time, i've posted new pictures of the last Salion party at my place. 8/26/02 Better late than never Put up the second and third set of photos these are from the anime convention i went to in LA and pictures from a company gathering. 7/27/02 Ok first set of photos are up Finished with the captions for the first set of photos. More to come! 7/25/02 Finally! something Ok i've been neglegent... But here's something to go on: I've got a the patshiv box up on the shadowbox site. And i've just finished resizing photos from my last four events. So pictures for all. 7/17/02 Slow daze Sorry bout the lack of updates. It's been really busy at work, that and the latest round of storms down here in Texas blew out the powersupply to my main computer. So, I gotta re-install software etc so i can post photos again... 6/15/02 And even more Photos Ok added the last set of photos for a bit. This one is of the booksigning Alton Brown did here in Austin recently. 6/14/02 More Photos Ok added the SF trip and my friends wedding photos. I'll be adding my pics from the Alton Brown book signing (and that, is Good Eats). 6/13/02 Photo's section updated Got the new photos of my Sushi/birthday party posted. Go check it out in the photo section. I'm working on my SF trip and fixing my pics from my friend's wedding. 5/25/02 - 6/02/02 On vacation I'm actually on vacation, so return mails will be slow. In other news. 2 new commissioned works. I'll be posting them shortly. And yes, I'm working on content for the other sections. Someone submitted a recipe for a cherry pie/cobbler it will be cool to try it out. 5/17/02 Ironjack is 28 today Not like anyone reads this stuff. But happy birthday to me. 5/2/02 Even less time :( Well, Ironjack's jobbie job just got harder, we laid some folks off and it of course infringes on playtime. But I managed to complete a few new shadowboxes, some in new and some in commissioned area let me know what you think. Not that anyone cares, but I i hope to put up miniatures pics soon, so that will be listed under works i think. Oh yeah, a few new links added. 4/28/02 Not enough time in the world Finished painting some miniatures, i have much to learn, I'll post pics when i post the next boxes. I've got more commissioned works on the way. I'll be working on them as time permits. 4/21/02 New Commissioned work Whew, lots of work getting done. added the following new boxes: Trap, Regaining the Upperhand and added the following old boxes (that i finally got a picture of): Kindred Spirits, Art of Love Also, I've been working on some minatures, Pics to show up shortly. I know the content is lacking, i'm working on that too. 4/15/02 Ironjack.com gets 10000 hits in 2 days! Wow 2 days and 10,000 hits. It isn't being /.'ed but it's close enough for me. Mostly just to see the shadowbox area. Big thanks to Jeff (the Lasombra) for a mention about my site. I'll try to keep the content dynamic to keep you guys coming back at least :) I plan on incrementally adding new content. It's hard being that there's only so many hours in a day. |
